Dear Valued Guest,
Before and in these unprecedented times the safety of our guests and employees has always been our number one priority. As we reopened from May 15th, 2020, we want to ensure travelers that your accommodation will be cleaner and safer for when you are ready to resume traveling once again.
To meet the new health and safety challenges and expectations we have made some changes and adaptations at the property.
We focused on enhanced hotel cleaning practices and workplace protocols, while ensuring transparency throughout the guest journey doing so in accordance with guidance issued by public health authorities and the government.
YOUR STAY - To ensure health and safety of our guests and employees all accommodations will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before every check-in and after every check-out. Room key cards are sanitized before and after every use.
COMMUNICATION - To avoid high traffic all communication with reception staff can be done through our WhatsApp service or calling from your accommodation to the reception.
PUBLIC AREAS - A cleaning procedure has been created to clean all frequently touched surfaces more often in all (high and low traffic) public spaces including the pool area.
OUR SERVICES - The housekeeping staff follows a cleaning procedure to ensure the safety of our guests and staff. Your accommodation will only be entered on the designated day for cleaning or maintenance inspection. Linens are washed and dry according to routine standards and procedures of the World Health Organization.

As we understand that your travel plans can change, our cancellation policy has been adjusted. For more information see our Cancellation Policy.

About our safety protocols?
Our safety protocol is intended to meet the new health and safety challenges and expectations presented by COVID-19. Guests are provided with our protocol in written upon check-in. Please follow our health and cleaning protocols during your stay. You are not obliged to wear a mask. Keep your distance from others than your travel companions. The social and physical distance of 2 meters / 6 feet / 2 arm lengths is the standard in Curaçao.

Planning your travel to Curaçao?
As of January 1, 2021, Curaçao has once again opened the door to the world and you as a visitor are very welcome. Before departure, all visitors must have completed the three mandatory steps on dicardcuracao.com. Travel is possible if the traveler has not visited another country or city with a high risk of COVID-19 at least 14 days before departure to Curaçao. If so, he or she is required to quarantine. The traveler agrees to all conditions of the Curaçao government. All medical costs and quarantine costs and / or isolation are at your own expense. Adequate insurance coverage is advised. No vaccines are needed to travel to Curaçao. Please check the link for additional allowed countries.

What are the Curaçao Airport requirements?
It is mandatory for all travelers arriving at Curaçao Hato Airport to wear a face mask. The traveler must digitally fill in a "Passenger Location Card" (PLC) before traveling and must have a copy of the PLC printed while traveling. The traveler must have taken a max. PCR test. 72 hours before their flight. The result must be negative in order to travel. The traveler must have the results of the PCR test printed while traveling. On 13 March 2020, the government of Curaçao announced the first confirmed case of coronavirus in the country. At the moment Curacao has 119 active cases.
